Earlier in the year we went back home to the UK for a vacation. The next few blog posts will be pictures from that vacation.
These are from Dover, Kent, one of the paces I grew up in as a youngster. There is a shingle beach here, and it is a very busy cross-channel ferry port, with ships leaving and arriving all the time from France.
This set is of the town and the beach, and, of course the White Cliffs
A break for coffee!

Our Welcome to Dover greeter!
So much to see, so little time!
I’m sure there are more ferries now than when I lived here
This is the Castle as seen from the beach
Astounding that these are built so close to the cliff!
Why is Number 10 Significant? It was our home when we lived in Dover Town
